Key Responsibilities
· You will carry out investigation of claims where appropriate to obtain quantum and liability information in order to make appropriate policy and legal liability decisions.
· Using your claims handling experience in order to settle claims minimising potential for increased costs.
· Handling a portfolio of Commercial and domestic Property Insurance claims from first notification of loss through to closure of the claim.

· Capture correct data to as a point of contact for customers, ensuring effective customer and insurer communication.

Key Responsibilities
· Using your claims handling experience in order to settle claims minimising potential for increased costs.
· Handling a portfolio of Employers/Public/Property Owners &Products liability claims from first notification of loss through to closure of the claim.
· Carry out investigations on claims where appropriate to obtain quantum and liability information in order to make policy and legal liability decisions.
· Inbound and outbound call handling, capturing correct data and acting at a first point of contact for customers, insurers and legal providers.
· Support in the handling of low level complaints and complex enquires.
· Work to targets ensuring service level agreements are adhered to on all claims.
Your skills and experience
· 1-5 years’ experience required in handling Employers/Public/Property Owners &Products liability claims (Other insurance classes can be considered)
· Excellent communication skills, with a strong customer focus
· Experience negotiating with solicitors

• Using cutting edge claims management technology, you will attempt to mitigate the costs of claims by contacting claimants to provide services as appropriate to their needs.
• Actively contacting the third party, advising suitable products and services we can provide with in service level agreements & key performance indicators.
• The role includes working with our external business partners including Insurance companies, brokers, vehicle repairers and vehicle suppliers to ensure the smooth and effective completion of our clients claim.
• Manage invoices received from the authorised hire and repair partners, ensuring they are accurate, and register payments onto the claims system for approval.
What Do You Need to Shine?

Previous experiance with in a customer service based position.
Show resilience this is a fast moving environment.
Have experience in claims management or be willing to learn, you will only be limited by your own ambition.

Monday to Friday rotating shifts between 8am – 8pm
One Saturday shift per month 9am – 1pm
This role will be ideal for someone who enjoys working in a challenging environment, with a passion for providing the best customer service.
As part of the Motor Claims Team, you will assess our client’s losses following an insurance motor claim. You will ensure we are providing the relevant services to our clients, supporting them through the process bringing the claim to completion.
